How updates work in 4.0
Section titled “How updates work in 4.0”Version 4.0 improves how settings are stored and upgraded. If you are updating an existing site, your API keys, keyword groups, and templates should carry forward automatically. The plugin uses a versioned migration path to ensure that your data is safe during upgrades.
This is mainly an internal improvement, but for operators it means less guesswork after plugin updates. You will see a confirmation notice on the Dashboard after any successful migration.
