Creating Your First AI Post
Your first post should be a test draft, not a full automation rollout. Use it to confirm your model, tone, formatting, and image settings.
Method 1: From the Dashboard (Quickest)
Section titled “Method 1: From the Dashboard (Quickest)”The fastest way to get a draft going is directly from the main WP-AutoInsight Dashboard.
- Navigate to WP-AutoInsight in your sidebar.
- In the “Quick Actions” box, click “Generate Post Now”.
- The plugin will use your current keyword group and generate the post as a background job.
- Watch the “Recent Activity” section on the Dashboard to see when it’s finished.
Method 2: From the Posts List
Section titled “Method 2: From the Posts List”You can also trigger a generation from your main WordPress “Posts” screen.
- Navigate to Posts > All Posts.
- Next to the “Add New” button at the top, you’ll see a button: “Create AI Post”.
- Click it, and the plugin will start a background generation job.
What Happens During Generation?
Section titled “What Happens During Generation?”When you trigger a post, the plugin performs several tasks in the background:
- Writing: The AI writes the full content based on your selected Tone and Model.
- Formatting: The content is automatically converted into native Gutenberg Blocks (Headings, Paragraphs, Lists).
- SEO: It generates a Meta Description and Focus Keywords for your SEO plugin (Yoast or RankMath).
- Images: It generates a relevant Featured Image for the post.
What to review before publishing
Section titled “What to review before publishing”- Title: Make sure it matches the intent of the post.
- Facts: Especially important if you used Perplexity or asked for current information.
- SEO fields: Check the generated description and focus terms in Yoast or RankMath.
- Featured image: Confirm that the image fits the article.
- Tone: Make sure the output still sounds like your site.
