WP-AutoInsight works seamlessly with your favorite SEO plugins to ensure your content ranks well in search engines.

When generating a post, WP-AutoInsight doesn’t just write the body content. It also creates critical SEO data in the background and injects it directly into your site’s SEO plugin.

Supported Plugins

We provide deep, native integration for the following tools:

• Yoast SEO: Automatically populates Focus Keyphrases, Meta Descriptions, and Social Excerpts.
• RankMath SEO: Automatically populates Primary Keywords (comma-separated), SEO Meta Descriptions, and Social Excerpts.

What Data is Generated?

Every time a post is created, the AI provides:

🏷️ Focus Keywords

Strategic keywords that summarize the topic, ready for your SEO plugin’s analysis.

📝 Meta Descriptions

A compelling summary designed to increase click-through rates from Google. Since 4.4, meta descriptions are hard-clamped to 160 characters — even if the model writes long, what’s saved always fits.

📱 Social Excerpts

Short, punchy summaries optimized for when the post is shared on Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn. Clamped to 200 characters since 4.4.

Note

Better failure reporting. If the AI returns SEO data that can’t be read, the job now reports a specific error (“returned SEO data that could not be read”) instead of silently retrying or failing generically. Check the Generation Log for the message and what to do about it.

How to Enable

To ensure this data is generated, verify your settings:

1. Go to WP-AutoInsight > Settings.
2. Find the “General” sub-tab.
3. Set New Post Status to Save as draft for review (this gives you a chance to see the SEO data before publishing — see Draft Mode).
4. Ensure “Generate SEO Metadata” is checked.

Tip

Pro Tip: All generated SEO metadata is saved as standard WordPress post meta. This means even if you switch SEO plugins later, your data remains safe in your database!
