Image Style
Every featured image WP-AutoInsight generates starts from a prompt built from your keywords and category. Since 4.5 that prompt ends with a style clause you control, plus a fixed instruction to avoid text, watermarks, and logos.
Choosing a style
Section titled “Choosing a style”- Go to WP-AutoInsight → Media → Images.
- Under Image Style, pick a preset or Custom….
- Save Image Settings.
The presets:
| Preset | Good for |
|---|---|
| Editorial photography (default) | Realistic, magazine-style photos. Works for most blogs. |
| Flat illustration | Clean vector-like graphics; friendly for SaaS and how-to content. |
| 3D render | Product-like objects and abstract scenes with depth. |
| Minimalist line art | Sparse, monochrome drawings that stay readable at thumbnail size. |
| Watercolor | Soft, painterly images for lifestyle, travel, and food. |
| Cinematic | Dramatic lighting and composition, film-still feel. |
| Custom… | Type your own description, up to 200 characters. |
Custom descriptions
Section titled “Custom descriptions”When you choose Custom…, a text field appears. Describe the look in plain words — for example vintage travel poster, muted palette or isometric pixel art, pastel colors. The text is appended verbatim as Style: …, so keep it about look, not subject.
If the custom field is left blank the plugin uses the default preset, so a half-finished setting never produces an odd prompt. Switching back to a preset keeps your custom text saved for later.
What the prompt looks like
Section titled “What the prompt looks like”For the keywords acids, bases in the Chemistry category with the default style:
acids, bases. Related to: Chemistry. Style: editorial photography. Clean composition, natural lighting, no text, no watermarks, no logos.Where it applies
Section titled “Where it applies”The style applies to featured images generated for new posts and to the Retry button on the post edit screen. Infographics have their own description prompt and are not affected.
Alt text is unchanged: it is built from the post title and primary keyword, so it never depends on the style.
